Ohio native Matt Betts is a triple threat: poet, author, and fan of Yeti.
His comment on Sasquatchploitation led me to his post that documents an awesome collection of Yeti appearances in comics.
I have a copy of that issue of Alpha Flight. Good stuff. It includes the classic Alpha Flight Sasquatch and a white Sasquatch/Yeti character. I looked thru a pile of my comics and found Alpha Flight Issue 44, with the white Sasquatch on the cover as well.
His book White Anvil: Sasquatch Onslaught is available on Amazon in digital and paperback format.
I haven’t read it yet, but it appears to include “genetically-altered sasquatches conditioned to annihilate anything they find”, so color me interested.
Thanks so much for the shout out! That was a fun post on Yetis from the comics, I should really do a follow up. I’m sure I can dig up a few more comics involving big foot, Sasquatch or Yeti!
And yes, my novel does involve a group of out of control Sasquatch and they people that have to survive a snowstorm as well as fighting those beasts. It was a blast to write, let me tell you!
